I'm sure pvfan will have an interesting input on tonight's game. Bottom line JJK is much deeper than PV . JJK has a defensive scheme that pressured Stick and Vernon which basically made the other three on the floor score for PV. Early in the game it looked like that scheme wouldnt work but Vernon went cold and Stick never really got going. PV ont he other hand pressured Clark the entire game but his teammates stepped up and made some buckets which allowed Clark to get open shots.

Conditioning played huge role tonight as well. By late 2nd quarter the Vikings were winded. Typical LPD officiating on both sides tonight

Anything was a foul through most of the game,folks getting away with carrying ball and pushing off all night long. 1st half lopsided foul descrepency for PV then in 2nd half refs trying to make up calls and close gap...you know same 'ol same 'ol.

Im in the complete opposite of your opinions on the officiating. I thought the crew did a very good job calling the game. Regardless of the foul count there is not a rule stating they have to be even. I think that is a very mute point that most uneducated sports fans complain about. Typically when officials begin a game they set a tone on what they are going to call whether that be the hand checks and push fouls or they let them play a little more. Tey might make changes according if the game gets out of hand and there is much rougher play. Either way the fouls get called. You have to remember 9 times out of 10 you have a much worse angle on fouls refs call. Something that might look like a foul 60 feet away is merely something different 3 feet away.

Just a thought but maybe JJK was playing rougher in the first half? Maybe they corrected themselves and realized they cannot push and what not.

I try not to be so judgmental toward officials in our area. They all try their hardest to call the game correctly.

Far from uneducated in sports. Thank you for your opinion (which you have right to). BTW it wasn't all JJK doing the pushing (alot of the point). You had folks like CJ throwing his hands up to show the refs that he was being pushed off. Like I said though,it was bad both ways. You can see it different and that's all good. Two pretty good squads at it tonight though,and JJK was better tonight. As for the angle? I was 2 rows from floor:2thumbsup: I never said the refs weren't trying either,but when you hear so much skin smacking it sounds like a porno and nothing is called yet charges are called with folks still moving their feet,you have to wonder.

If you are far from uneducated in sports you would know a charge can occur while people are still moving. IF the offense player leads with the shoulder and creates contact with the defensive player it is a charge EVERY single time. If both the offense and defense is running and the offensive player bumps the defender enough to displace him it is a charge EVERY single time.

You might want to brush up on your rules there sports guru.

Got out played, Stick got leg cramps, JJK hit a ton of threes and won. The officiating was awful, first time all season I've cursed. How T.J. McAmis can have a personal conversation with an official after every foul and our coach doesn't say a word and gets a technical while we are on a run I will never understand. I've been to over 1,000 basketball games in my life and it's the only time in my life I've ever seen a call like that. I don't think we would have won regardless but it would have been interesting to see the final result if that situation doesn't occur. It was a nine point swing in the game. Salyers, Dillon Clark, and Aaron Clark all played well for JJK. I'm sure people will say I'm just belly aching but I've never seen a call like that, especially in that spot. If it were I, I wouldn't have that official back. The sad thing is, the guy who actually missed the foul gave us every call, almost making them up after the screw up to benefit us. Really, the last time the game was so important the Super Crew was on it. I'm not sure what changed in two weeks.
